God’s faithfulness is the bedrock of our trust and confidence in Him. It’s the assurance that He is reliable, true to His word, and always working everything out for our good. His faithfulness is the foundation of our hope, and the anchor of our souls. The scripture says “Great is your faithfulness, O God, your mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:23,
When we face challenges and uncertainties, we can cling to God’s faithfulness, knowing that He is working everything out for our good (Romans 8:28). We can trust Him to be our rock, our refuge, and our salvation (Psalm 18:2). The Bible is clear: God’s promises never fail. From the moment He made His first promise to Abraham, God has been faithful to His word, and He will continue to be faithful until the end of time.
In a world where everything seems to be falling apart, it’s comforting to know that God’s faithfulness is our anchor, holding us fast and guiding us through life’s storms. Whether we are facing challenges, doubts, or fears, we can clove to the unshakeable truth that God’s promises are yes and amen, and that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
At that instant when God put a dream or a desire within you, it began to grow, He did not just initiate it; He also designated a time for its fulfilment. In God’s perspective, it is already done, but He guides us through the process of achieving it. Known as the author and the finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), God wouldn’t have blessed you with that dream or vision if the time for completion had not been established in heaven.
No matter how long it has been or how impossible it may seem. Your thoughts might suggest that it’s too late, that you have lost too many chances for it to ever come true. But God assures you, “It’s not too late. I have the ultimate decision. The date for you to witness the heart’s desire, dream or vision has already been determined, and if you maintain your faith without doubting, it will only be a matter of time until you see it happen.”
There was a period when you thought you could receive the answer to your long-time heart’s desire or you thought you could achieve great things. You held on to a grand vision. Perhaps you believed you could launch that business, regain momentum for your ministry, regain your health, or find love and marry, yet time has passed! You thought you could return to your goals; you made efforts, but they didn’t yield results. The scripture says, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24.
The fact that it hasn’t occurred yet does not indicate that it won’t happen. God has already prepared the right individuals, the ideal chances, and the necessary solutions. Everything you require is already ahead of you. Now, it’s time to discard the uncertainty and the disappointment. Regardless of whether it has been one year, five years, or even fifty years, what God has promised you or deposited in your heart, He will bring it to pass, and what He has begun with you will be brought to completion.
In the scriptures, there was a man named Simeon. He received a revelation from the Holy Spirit that he would not die until he had beheld the Messiah, Jesus Christ (Luke 2:26). You can envision how daunting that promise seemed, especially during that era, considering it had been awaited for over a thousand years.Â
God is too faithful to fail and whatever He has initiated in your life, family or loved ones, He will bring to completion. No one can hinder it. The enemy cannot obstruct it. Illness cannot prevent it. Even death cannot halt it. Prepare yourself. God is set to finalise your unfinished aspirations. God can complete what He begins regardless of the situation.
Even the hidden desires in your heart may appear unattainable, but keep in mind that our God is omnipotent. He spoke the universe into being and holds you securely in His grasp. God did not bring you into this world to lead a mediocre existence, to stumble through life feeling unfulfilled and unrewarded. Instead, He designed you to accomplish something extraordinary. He has embedded seeds of greatness within you.Â
Beloved, you need to ignite what God has placed within you. Life will attempt to bring you down, rob you of your aspirations, and persuade you to accept a life of mediocrity. However, I encourage you to adopt a new perspective. What God initiated in your life, He aims to bring to fruition, but here comes the crucial question. Will you continue to have faith even when things seem impossible? Will you maintain your belief even when everyone around you says it will not work out?
This is the example set by David; he was chosen to be king at the age of 17, but he did not ascend to the throne until he was 30. For 13 long years, numerous challenges arose against him. King Saul envied him and sought to take his life. Despite having done nothing wrong, David spent years on the run, hiding in caves, and I can imagine him wondering, “God, did I misunderstand? Will this ever come to pass?”
God has implanted a promise within you, yet perhaps you feel like David, currently in a barren place where progress seems nonexistent. You might think, “Pastor, I have been praying and hoping for a year, five years, even ten years. It will never come together.” It is true that you might feel weary, disheartened, or easily tempted to feel frustrated, but do not surrender your hopes for the future. Stay steadfast on the right path. Our God is too faithful to fail.
GOD SAYS, IT IS NOT OVER YET!

It may take longer than expected, but what God has begun, He will see through to completion. One thing I appreciate about God is that our abandonment of a dream does not equate to His abandonment of that dream. Beloved, God’s love is immense. His mercy is great. Even when we lose hope to believe, He does not forget His promises to us. Your journey may not have unfolded as you envisioned. You prayed fervently. You had faith. You persevered and put in the work, yet things did not turn out well. Now you might find yourself thinking, “I will never be happy again, never marry, never fulfil my dreams.”
No, God will not only remember you, but He will also remember the promise He placed within you. He understands your purpose. You may have already thought, “I give up; it’s never going to happen.” The encouraging news is that your opinion is not the final word. God holds the final authority, and He declares, “What I have initiated in your life, that dream you have let go of, I have not abandoned you or that dream.” I am too faithful to fail; sayest the Lord of hosts”
What God begins, He will finish. You might wonder how that could occur. It may seem like you are past the right age. Perhaps you think you have lost too many chances. It feels impossible. No, God has a plan in place. God understands how to connect the pieces. Here’s the important part. God does not want you to achieve just part of your purpose. He doesn’t want you to see only part of it realised. God will ensure that you accomplish what He created you to achieve.
Now, you might say, “Pastor, this all sounds uplifting, but you don’t understand my situation. I believe it might be too late for me.” This is similar to what two sisters in the Bible thought; Mary and Martha. Their brother, Lazarus, was gravely ill. They sent a message to their close friend, Jesus, asking Him to come to their town to pray for their brother.
A day passed, and still, Jesus did not show up. They were confused as to why Jesus delayed in coming. Sadly, Lazarus passed away. Four days later, Jesus arrived. Mary told Him, “Jesus, if you had come earlier, my brother would have lived.” Have you ever felt like God arrived too late? If He had come just a little bit sooner, maybe things would have turned out differently. That was their sentiment (John 11:1-44).
You know how the story concludes. Jesus called Lazarus, and he came back to life. But the main point to understand is that they hoped Jesus would come to heal their brother; however, Jesus was thinking beyond healing. He considered resurrection. While a healing would have been good, Jesus had something greater in mind. So that dream is indeed attainable!
When the promise doesn’t align with your expectations and timeline, it’s easy to feel let down and disheartened, yet the reality is that God has something superior planned. You prayed. You put in the effort, you had faith, but things didn’t change; there was little improvement or no improvement at all. The opportunity vanished. Don’t lose hope. That would have been a healing. God has a resurrection planned. Choose to trust Him; He has promised that what He has begun in your life will be completed. If you allow God to proceed in His way, the outcome will always exceed your wildest expectations.
God is calling out to you, “Start over. Reclaim your dreams. Lift your hopes high.” God has instilled a promise in your heart. Even if it has been years since you first felt it. You made attempts. It didn’t pan out as you wished. There were obstacles along the way. God is saying, “It’s time to dream once more.” “Start believing again” “Start praying again.” “Start having expectations again.”Â
Perhaps you wanted a new house. It didn’t happen back then or many years ago, but God is saying, “Start over.” You envisioned a grand future for yourself or your family. You aimed to break free from limitations and establish a new path for your family, yet faced several letdowns. There was no one to support you. No one to motivate you. You may feel like it’s the end now, but God is saying, “It’s not done. I hold the ultimate authority. Start anew.” You wanted a better life, you work very hard but still nothing. Start again.
Whatever it is that you have prayed about then, don’t give up; God is too faithful to fail. Inside you lie the seeds of greatness. God did not place the promise in your heart without the intention to fulfil it. He is too faithful not to fulfil it. The scripture explains it well: “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” Philippians 1:6.
Beloved, God is telling you, “I am too faithful to fail. I will bring to completion what I began with you. I recall the aspirations I placed in your heart. I have arranged for the right people and opportunities to come your way. It is not too late. You haven’t missed out significantly. You haven’t made too many errors. Start over. Reignite your passion. Reclaim your enthusiasm. It’s time to recover!
I decree and declare that God is adjusting circumstances to favour you. He is unleashing an abundance of His kindness, mercy, and inspiration over your life. You are a victor, overcoming every challenge and opposition, becoming all God has created you to be, in Jesus’ name.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift His countenance upon you and give you peace
