GOD’S HAND OF FAVOUR!

 

God’s hand of Favour is God’s hand of approval, support or liking upon a person.

Just like a well-known company which decides to approve a product or endorse a product, it will give the product more value and more sales… The manifestation of God’s hand of favour upon a person is the most valuable approval or endorsement anyone could receive in their lifetime. 

 

Whenever you see someone miraculously rising, it’s not luck as some people may say, there is always something supernatural in the significant rising of God’s people. The hand of God’s favour overpowers the background and limitations of people!

 

Studying the life of Joseph in the bible; he was hated by his brothers, thrown into a pit, and sold into slavery. He was accused wrongly while in slavery and landed in prison. However, he was miraculously free from prison and that same day he became the second in command in Egypt.

 

The life of Joseph is simply the manifestation of God’s favour. All the challenges Joseph went through became the ticket for him to become a second in command in Egypt.

When God’s hand of favour is upon you, whatever evil the enemy does against you will land you in the best of life you had never imagined. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

 

 

 

Favour takes a person from the bottom to the top, gives preferential treatment, and gives things you don’t deserve; you were not the next in line but you were selected…God’s hand of favour handpick you from the crowd for the blessing.

 

It’s good to work hard, be faithful, and be committed however, without God’s hand of favour upon our lives, all of our efforts can only take us to a certain level. It takes favour for us to go to the extraordinary level that hard work or human effort can’t reach.

 

You don’t expect to go far more than your education qualification may take you or as far as your background may allow but when God’s hand of favour is activated in your life you will go beyond what human effort could accomplish. Opportunities that you never see coming; the right people will cross your path. God’s hand of favour upon your life is worth more than a lifetime of labour.

 

Sometimes, it’s easy to feel limited as a result of limited resources at your disposal. You may either say that you don’t have the right contact, the right connection or those who could have helped don’t like you enough to help… relax God’s hand of favour can cover up for all that.

 

Never fall into the trap of trying to manipulate people or compromise to convince people to help you, those who God has sent to help you have no choice but to help you. Some people may not be able to explain why they are helping you because they just feel they should help you while others will be excited to be of help to you.

 

Considering how Noah found favour before God is quite interesting! God would have destroyed Noah and his family along with everyone that was destroyed by the flood but the Bible says  “But Noah found favour in the eyes of the Lord.” Genesis 6:8 God’s hand of Favour can select you from the crowd and cause you to accomplish an unbelievable task.

 

In the case of Esther, the King could have chosen someone else but for some reason He chose Esther! Apart from the king, the Bible says Esther found favour in all the people who saw her, “And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all who saw her.” Esther 2:15 Similarly, They could have chosen someone else for that contract, job, award, gift, etc but for some reason they chose you. It’s not luck, it’s called God’s hand of favour.

 

Sometimes they don’t know the reason they are choosing you but there is something about you they can’t seem to lay their hand on because God is smiling at you. Favour is more powerful than your resume, work experience, connection, your contacts or your possession. 

 

Favour is not about big houses or big cars, there is nothing wrong with owning big cars or big houses but favour is the supernatural enablement to accomplish the plans and purpose of God in your life.

 

 

 

The grace of God is God’s hand of favour upon our lives. If you are a born-again Christian, God’s hand of favour is already in your life, I mean the hand of God’s favour is upon you already. The scripture is telling us to take advantage of the grace of Christ Jesus. How do we take advantage of God’s hand of favour…

 

One of the ways to put God’s hand of favour to work in our lives is Consciousness. I mean being conscious of God’s favour upon your life. Having the consciousness of God’s favour in our lives is a catalyst for manifestation and experiencing God’s favour. God highlight a word to create a consciousness… He wants us to be conscious of it and declare it continuously. Whatever you are conscious about is what you can put to work. God gives us His word to bring us to the place of consciousness… 

 

Another way you can put God’s hand of favour to work is by declaring it to yourself and saying “The favour of God is upon me, I have God’s favour, I live in God’s favour and I am walking in it now… The declaring part of our faith is very important and even salvation is received through believing in our heart and declaring it with our mouth. “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10

 

Other ways to put God’s hand of favour to work in our lives are prayers, giving out favour, rejoicing with those who are experiencing God’s favour, walking in Humily, thanksgiving to God, and your value; skills, and virtue which is the measure of your closeness to the character of Christ, all these can aid you to take advantage of the hand of God’s favour in your life.

 

In conclusion, the difference between a believer who is experiencing God’s hand of favour in a higher dimension and those who are experiencing it in a lower dimension is knowing how to activate it, put it to work or take advantage of it. You too can put it to work; receive the passion to keep at it continuously in Jesus’ name (Amen)
