When we look at the dreams we want to accomplish, and the challenges we are hoping will turn around, it can seem like it’s going to take a long time. I am talking about more years to live your dream, more years to recover from that sickness, more years to resolve the marital issues or more years to see your career (business) grow big. However, God doesn’t always follow a normal timeline. He is the God of haste. The word of God says “For I will hasten my word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12 KJV
What has God told you concerning that issue? Or you are yet to hear anything from Him about it? He may not tell you what He is going to do but He knows how to hasten up things. He has these moments of favour, where He will catapult you ahead. Everything seems routine; you are going along at the same pace, making the same progress, then out of nowhere one favour from God, one contract, one door of special favour opens and you are on a higher level.
You may not see it coming, you can’t explain it. it’s God accelerating things and hastening things that are connected to you! God knows how to accelerate your dreams, accelerate your healing, accelerate what you believe in. That’s why you can’t judge your future or your health challenges based on the progress you have seen so far.
A sister who had a severe ankle injury gave a testimony in one of our meetings. According to her, in the dream, I gave a command that she should vomit whatever was inside her. So, she started vomiting strange things like scorpions and other things she could not recognize.
After vomiting those strange things, she woke up frightened, and got to her feet. Suddenly, she realized that there was no pain anymore in her ankle. She walked around her room and jumped up but the pains were gone. That’s the God of haste who hastens His word to perform it. This sister went to bed with severe pains and woke up completely healed.
She was already planning how to manage the pains in the next few days. Or hoping, one week time or even a few months, she will start getting better but the God of haste who can hasten His word to perform it came through for her and completely healed her.
What are you expecting God to hasten in your life? Your marriage? Your career? Your standard of living? Your project? The fruit of the womb? Peace in your home? Don’t give up! We serve the God who can hasten His word to perform it in our lives.
He has some hastening performance coming your way. Things that will catapult you ahead. You can’t explain it, you didn’t see it coming, but suddenly you get well. Suddenly you are in management, and suddenly you break the addiction. Should have taken you a lifetime, but God hasten His word to perform it in your case!
There are hastened moments set on motion for a reason; You couldn’t make it happen, you couldn’t change your mind, you couldn’t make yourself get well, it’s the hand of God propelling you into your destiny. He has the momentum right now. You are on the verge of seeing acceleration on, quick work. God is speeding up things.
What should have taken you years will happen in a fraction of the time. “I don’t know, pastor, I feel like I’m stuck. I’m not making much progress, my dream seems so far off”. No, get in agreement with God. You have to be a believer and not a doubter. “Father, thank you that I’m coming into acceleration. Thank you that you have already lined me up to hasten your word in my life for performance.
He is going to propel you in your health: supposed to take a long time to get well. You had your mind made up to take the treatment, to endure, to make it through, but God stepped in and hastened up things, and did things you couldn’t do. Now you find yourself further, healthy, whole, victorious. Or you thought that legal problems would last for years. Experts told you not to get your hopes up, but God was too in haste to resolve it than you expected. He did a quick work, and you found yourself joyful and free from legal tussle.
GOD’S TIMELINE!
You can’t calculate God’s goodness, you can’t quantify His blessings, His increase, His favour. There are things that He has already planned for you that are out of the ordinary and are not common. That’s why He said, “Lean not to your understanding”.(Proverbs 3:5-6) Don’t look at your dreams, your problems, or the medical report just in the natural, on your timeline. God has another timeline.
God has decided to hasten up things and defy the odds, the acceleration you didn’t see coming, and favour that will catapult you ahead. You look up and think, “How did I get here? I didn’t have the training, I wasn’t next in line”, but God catapulted you ahead. “How did I break this addiction, it should have taken years”, but the God who hastened His word to perform it stepped in. God said, “Enough is enough”, and you found yourself filling the gap from where you are now to where you are meant to be.
The scripture says, “The hand of the Lord was on me and He carried me”(Ezekiel 37:1 KJV). The word “carried” in the original language means to shoot out, to launch forward, it implies acceleration. As God Carries you through life, it’s not always going to be predictable, routine, at the same place, at the same pace. You are going to come into these times where God is going to propel you, years down the road.
You were going along fine, making steady progress, and being faithful, then God hit the hasten button! Out of nowhere, you are carried into levels you didn’t see coming, favour, influence, and opportunity that you never imagined.
You don’t know what God has in store for you. He has been carrying you, He has been sustaining you, but part of that carrying is these times when God launches you forward. Where He accelerates your destiny and gives speed into where you thought you were far behind.
You may feel like you are not making much progress and that can be discouraging. You are thinking, at this rate, it’s going to take so long to get ahead. So long to get well, so long for your child to get back to his/her best behaviour. What you can’t see is how God will hasten His word to perform it. You wouldn’t be reading this if He wasn’t about to accelerate some things concerning you. Keep being faithful, and keep honouring Him, He is about to hasten His word and perform it in your life.
The scripture says “I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time” (Isaiah 60:22) It may look like you are falling behind, and it’s too late to accomplish your dream, but don’t worry, God will hasten His word to perform it in perfect timing!
It’s not going to be at the same gradual pace your whole lifetime. Be grateful for where you are, stay faithful, but don’t let the fact that it’s routine convince you that it’s always going to be that way. God has some of these hastening moments already on your schedule. You are going to come into some quick words: you can’t explain it, it doesn’t make sense, it’s God shooting you out, launching you into the fullness of your destiny.
To reach the fullness of your destiny, it’s not going to happen only at a normal pace. There are going to be some of these moments of haste and favour that catapult you ahead, and you find yourself further. You can’t explain it, you didn’t earn it, the hand of God accelerating your destiny, getting you ahead.
And yes, I know there are seasons of waiting! Times when we may not see progress, and we have to endure, do the right thing when nothing is changing, and pass those tests. But as God Carries you, you are also going to come into these moments of favour, where He catapults you ahead.
When God hasten things, you are going to see things that boggle your mind… You haven’t seen, heard or imagined what God has in store. You don’t know what God is up to. He already scheduled the right people to call you, the favour to chase you down, the favour that will catapult you ahead. You are going to see the God of acceleration shooting you into your destiny.
It may seem like you are falling behind, but stay encouraged: God has some of these hasten moments for you. He is about to accelerate things. The favour that will put you decades ahead. Now you may have been through disappointments, and nothing looks like it will ever change… God has the changing moment by hastening His word to perform it in your life. He is about to do some quick work that will blow your mind!
What looks like is a long way off, get ready, it’s going to happen sooner than you think. I decree and declare: that acceleration is coming to your family. God is hastening up things to perform in your life. The right people are finding you, favour is chasing you from now on, dreams are coming to pass, healing, freedom, and abundance sooner than you think, in Jesus’ name. (Amen)
