Have you ever felt like you have waited on God for too long, leaving you to navigate life’s challenges alone? It’s a common phenomenon, and one that can be both frustrating and disheartening. The scripture says, “Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!” Psalm 27:14
When faced with uncertainty, it’s tempting to take matters into our own hands and try to force doors to open or manipulate the situation. However, it’s essential to remember that waiting for God’s best pays, it requires trust in His timing and plans!
In the Bible, David, a man after God’s own heart, cried out to God in Psalm 22:2, expressing his pain and frustration at God, for a long period of waiting. Yet, despite his doubts and fears, David trusted in God’s ultimate deliverance. This biblical example reminds us that God’s timing can be different from our timing, and what He has in store for us is far better than what we have in mind.
A long period of waiting doesn’t mean that God has ignored us, it’s because sometimes, He is preparing us for the best. We think we are falling behind, and everyone else seems to be overtaking us. We may feel like we should be further along in our journey, achieving more and experiencing greater success. However, the waiting is not a sign of rejection or abandonment. Instead, it’s an invitation to trust in His sovereignty and goodness.
Have you ever felt like you are stuck in limbo, waiting for a breakthrough or a blessing that seems to be taking forever? You are not alone. Jesus told His disciples, “I’m going away to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2), and the good news is that God has already prepared blessings for you too. These blessings include favour, the right people, and healing. At the appointed time, you will come into them. It’s essential to trust in God’s perfect timing and wait for His best.
Yes, I know, waiting on God can be challenging, but it’s in these moments that our faith is strengthened. As the scripture says, “They that wait on the Lord will renew their strength, they will mount up with wings like eagles…” (Isaiah 40:31). God’s silence allows us to wait in faith, trusting that He is working behind the scenes, even when we can’t see anything happening.
The story of Rachel in the Bible is a powerful example of waiting on God’s timing. Despite facing disappointment and delay, Rachel held on to her faith, and eventually, God remembered her and gave her the blessing she had been longing for (Genesis 30:22-24). This story reminds us that waiting on God can never be wasted. He has not forgotten us and has seen every unfair situation, every lonely night, and every heartache.
If you are feeling discouraged, wondering why God seems silent in your situation, remember that God’s timing may not be our timing. He has a blessing prepared for you that you are going to walk into, and it’s essential to wait for His timing. In the meantime, trust in His goodness, and know that He is working everything out for your good.
Are you feeling impatient, wondering when God’s blessings will manifest in your life? The scripture offers a powerful reminder: “Don’t be impatient for the Lord to act. Keep traveling steadily along His path and in due season, He will honor you with every blessing” (Psalm 37:34). This promise reassures us that if we keep moving forward, trusting in God’s plan, everything that belongs to us will come into our lives at the right time.
When we keep travelling steadily along God’s path, we can be confident that everything that has our name on it is coming to us. This includes the spouse, the baby, the healing, the business, the contract, the peace, and the freedom we have been praying for. Despite the challenges we face, we can trust that God’s timing is perfect, and His silence is not a sign of rejection.
When negative thoughts creep in, whispering doubts and fears, we can choose to trust in God’s goodness and sovereignty. We can say, “No, thanks, God may still be silent about my case, but His silence cannot deny me what is mine.” God’s silence is not a rejection; it’s a sign that He is working on our behalf, orchestrating events and circumstances to bring about His perfect plan.
The story of Rachel and Joseph reminds us that God’s timing is strategic. If Rachel had given birth to Joseph earlier, Joseph wouldn’t have fulfilled his divine purpose. God’s delays are not denials; they are a part of His plan to bring about the best possible outcome. We can trust that God knows what we need and when we will need it.
DON’T GIVE UP!

Don’t give up, even when you have waited on God for a long time. Instead, trust in His perfect plan, and know that He has a solution for every challenge you are facing. You can say, “God, I trust you. I know you are in control. You already have a solution. I’m going to be still and know that you are God.” Waiting for God’s best is an invitation to trust in His sovereignty and goodness.
If you are feeling stuck, uncertain, or frustrated with God’s silence, remember that His silence is not rejection. Don’t give up on your heart’s desires or lose faith in His goodness. Instead, trust in His perfect timing and hold on to hope. God’s plans for you are bigger and better than you can imagine, and His silence is merely a pause between what He has already done and what He is yet to do.
In a world filled with uncertainty, we can stay at peace, knowing that God is ordering our steps. Even when doors close, challenges persist, or relationships seem impossible, we can trust that God is working everything out for our good. His plan is perfect, and His timing is impeccable.
If you are waiting for a breakthrough or a blessing, remember that your waiting can never be wasted. It’s an invitation to trust in His sovereignty and goodness. Keep travelling steadily along His path, and in due season, you will experience the blessings He has promised. Trust His timing, and know that He is working everything out for your good.
Are you feeling frustrated, wondering when God’s blessings will manifest in your life? The scripture offers a comforting reminder: “God, my times are in your hands” (Psalm 31:15). This powerful verse reassures us that God’s timing is always perfect, and He has a plan to bring about the blessings we have been praying for.
When we know that God is in control and our times are in His hands, it takes the pressure off us. We don’t have to strive and strain, trying to make things happen on our own. We can trust that God has exactly what we need for each season of our lives. As Jesus said, “Seek first the Kingdom of God… and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). When we give God the first place, He promises to add everything we need.
The scripture reminds us that “No good thing will He withhold when you walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11). The key is to seek the Blesser, not just the blessing. When we prioritise our relationship with God, the blessings will follow. We don’t have to manipulate circumstances or try to make things happen on our own; instead, we can trust in God’s goodness and sovereignty.
If you are feeling like Rachel, waiting for a miracle or a breakthrough, remember that what seems to be barrenness is not the end. Your baby is coming, your spouse is coming, your healing is coming, and your breakthrough is coming. It’s not going to be something ordinary or average; it’s going to be a Joseph – an uncommon, unusual blessing that will catapult you into your dreamed destiny and more than you ever imagined. Trust God’s timing, and know that He has a plan to bring about the blessings you have been praying for.
Have you ever felt like you are in the dark, unsure of what is to come? God has a message for you: He sees what you can’t see. He knows exactly what’s coming, what you need, and when you need it. It’s time to trust His timing and stop fighting the waiting.
Waiting can be tough, but it’s in these moments that we learn to listen to the voice within and trust God’s plan. He has prepared blessings in store for you, and something is working for your good behind the scenes. You may have been waiting for a long time, but don’t give up. God already has what you need; it’s just a matter of time before He calls your name, opens the door, brings the healing, or brings the breakthrough.
Whatever you are going through, remember that it has an expiration date. When it’s your turn for the favour, it will not turn away from you. Do your part and wait for God’s plan to unfold. As you trust in His goodness and sovereignty, I decree and declare that you are about to come into a prepared blessing, joy, favour, healing, and promotion that will catapult you into all that God has created you to be in Jesus’ name.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift His countenance upon you and give you peace.
