THE MYSTERY OF THE BLOOD (ACCESS BY THE BLOOD)

The mystery of the blood is a coded or hidden revelation of God’s word. As such, the level of revelation at your disposal goes a long way to determine, how far and how fast you can travel in the journey of life.

This article is written to unveil the hidden secrets encapsulated in the blood of Jesus, by empowering believers through its application to live a more victorious life. This is crucial because the enemy is capitalizing on the ignorance of believers to wreak havoc on many lives and destinies. 

The truths shared in this article are timeless, trans-generational, trans-cultural and relevant for all ages, especially in this season of His resurrection. There are so many other mysteries encapsulated in the blood which time might not permit us to share here. For the sake of this article, I will be focusing on “How We Can Gain Access By The Blood” It is my earnest prayer that the eyes of your understanding will be opened to fully maximize the tremendous power available in the blood of Jesus. 

Access into the fullness of God’s glory has always been by revelation from time immemorial. The scripture says in Exodus 24:1-2 that only Moses was given access to come close. “And he said unto Moses, COME up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off. And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.” Only Moses was given access to come close. What was the secret behind this personal invitation? In our dealings with God, we must understand that the Kingdom of God operates by keys and principles. It is the key you have that determines what opens to you.

The scripture says in Psalm 103:7 “He made known his ways to Moses, and his acts to the children of Israel.” This means there was something Moses knew that the people did not know. Moses knew the ways of God, but the people only saw His acts. Moses knew the process but the people were only concerned with the product. Moses knew what could be done to turn things in their favour but the people were only concerned about the favour.

The scripture says in Leviticus 9:6 “And Moses said, This is the thing which The LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.” What Moses explained was a secret that God had revealed to him. It was what guaranteed access to divine presence if applied.

THE BLOOD ALTERED THE EQUATION!

There was no way the equation of gaining access to God’s presence could have changed. It might interest you to know that it changed because THE BLOOD altered the equation. “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; without shedding of blood is no remission.” Hebrews 9:22: 

He knew that what sanctifies both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry was “the blood”.  He used the power of the blood to remove the barrier and the same people God said shouldn’t come close went up to the top of the mountain. “And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD” And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do and be obedient. And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.” (Exodus 24:5-8)

In Verses 9-11, the Bible says they saw God, ate and drank and God couldn’t touch them. “Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. And upon the nobles of the children of Israel, he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.” 

The same people who were commanded to stand and observe from afar did not only come close but came so close that the Bible says they were at the feet of God eating and drinking and discussing. And the scripture says, “And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also, they saw God and ate and drank.” When Moses introduced the blood; the blood removed the limitation, the blood removed the barrier. the blood removed the restriction. The blood was a shield against the penalty of their offence. The blood was the game changer… I decree, that anything militating against your life, by the blood of Jesus they are broken.

Let’s take a look at the New Testament application of the Old Testament experience. The scripture says “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes was far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For He is our peace, who hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.” Ephesians 2: 13, 14

Also in Ephesians 2:18: “For through him we both have access by the spirit unto the father.” Hebrews 10:19 says: “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter into the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, “We are given access to the Holiest by the blood of Jesus without restrictions or denial. HALLELUYAH!

When we learn to appropriate the blood, nothing can stop us in life. The blood gives us unrestricted access to the very presence of God. In Hebrews 4:16 the scripture says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” The blood changed the equation for them.

> Father, let the blood change the equation in my favour, Grant me access and introduce me to a new dimension of glory.

> I will not be denied, restricted or rejected.

I therefore decree over your life; if the blood of animals can remove the denial before God, by the blood of Jesus, you cannot be denied. The barriers are broken. The limitations are hereby removed by the blood, in Jesus’ Name. ( Amen.)
