Sometimes God can ask us to do a hard thing like take a step of faith, forgive someone who doesn’t deserve it, take up a position or quit hanging around a friend who is pulling us down. Deep down we know it’s God’s will but we don’t think we can do it! The scripture says “For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13
God will never ask you to do something and not give you the ability to get it done. He is working in you, giving you the desire to obey Him, please Him and the power to do His will. So, quit telling yourself, “I can’t do this, You need to have a new mindset, “This may be difficult, but I have the power to get it done.”
See, it’s one thing to know the right thing to do, we feel God speaking to us, calling us to do His will, but often we feel inadequate like we are not able to. But when you understand that God didn’t just give you the desire to do His will but also gave you the power to get it done then you will have the boldness to take a step of faith.
Is God asking you to do His will that seems hard? Soul winning, forgiving someone, not being so critical and judgmental, starting a business, creating a personal time with Him daily, weekly or maybe something I didn’t mention here but you keep making excuses, thinking of all the reasons you can’t get it done.
Please, get rid of those excuses, this is a new day. There is power in you right now just waiting to be energized. If you will make a move, you will activate that power. The scripture says “For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure”. You have the most powerful force in the universe working in you to do His good pleasure.
Now, get rid of a weak mentality, “I can’t, I will never or It’s difficult and turn it around, “Father, thank you that you are working in me right now. This may be too much for me, but I know it’s not too much for you. I am strong, bold, confident, and well able to do your will and carry it out accordingly.
Where God is taking you is bigger than you can go on your own. The doors He is going to open, and the gifts in you that you are going to discover are much greater than you can imagine. When He whispers something in your spirit, it may seem impossible, you have to bypass your mind and let that seed take root. The power to do His will is within you but you have to tap into it.
This is what Noah did… God told him there was going to be a great flood that would cover the whole earth, and that he was to build an ark, a huge boat to save his family and create spaces for many animals to stay too. This was no small boat, it was to be 450 ft long, a football field and a half. (Genesis 6:13-22)
Back in those days, it had never rained, the dew came up from the ground to water the earth. They had never seen water coming down from the sky, and the concept of a flood and needing a boat in the desert would have been so unusual and so illogical. (Genesis 2:6)
Every circumstance said, “This doesn’t make sense. You must have heard God wrongly”. He had plenty of good excuses to ignore it, but God doesn’t give you the desire to do His will without giving you the power to get it done. He won’t ask you to do a hard thing and then not give you the faith and the courage to do it.
He took that step of faith and started building. You can imagine people coming by saying, “Look at that fool, he is building a boat in the desert. Doesn’t he know it doesn’t rain”? He was ridiculed, made fun of, and the talk of the town. This wasn’t a one-year project, it took more than 100 years to build the ark.
Some Bible historians say he planted the trees before he could build them, probably because God asked him to use a specific wood (gopherwood- Genesis 6:14) when they grew big enough, he cut them into pieces to construct the ark. How could Noah have that kind of faith to not talk himself out of it? When God plants a dream in your heart, He also gives you the anointing, the faith and the power to accomplish it.
THINGS NOT YET SEEN!

The scripture says “By faith Noah, having been divinely instructed concerning the things not yet seen, having been moved with fear, prepared an ark” (Hebrews 11:7) Notice, God spoke to him about things not yet seen: never been a flood before, never had rain from the clouds… God is going to do things in your life that your family hasn’t seen before now.
He is going to open doors of influence and favour greater than what has happened in the past. There are things you are about to step into that are going to seem beyond your capability, illogical, too good to be true. Don’t talk yourself out of it, with that dream comes the power to obey. You don’t have to figure it all out, all you have to do is believe and act!
During the peak of Covid 19 when schools, churches and most organizations were shot down, God told me to go to the hospital and minister to the sick. I remember sharing this instruction with some persons who discouraged me and rebuked me sharply. A respected pastor even told me that I was tempting God.
I knew I heard from God however I prayed about it again but still had unexplainable peace in my heart about the decision. So, I took a step of faith and went to the hospital but also met with resistance from some of the medical staff at the hospital who asked me if I wanted to cost them their jobs. I almost went back home but singled out one of them and explained how I was sent by God.
Well, God never lied, the medical staff told me to do it fast and leave. After ministering in the male ward, I was later allowed to minister in the female ward and children’s ward. That is how I continued to visit the hospital and one other hospital every week until the effect of the COVID-19 virus was reduced. Many were saved and healed, and their commitment to God was renewed.
This singular act of faith has opened me up to another area of ministry that was not in my plans. Lives are been touched and transformed daily… Before then, I had attempted to write a book but always got stuck at a point on three different occasions but through acting on this instruction and doing God’s will, I wrote four books within a short time.
WhatsApp groups were created, where I share God’s word every morning for the past 3 years with different nationalities and people from about four different continents as members of the WhatsApp groups. This website: (https://pastorvictorohueministries.com) is one of the fruits of it. I could not have imagined how doing hospital ministration during COVID-19 could have brought about all these areas of ministries and a lot of testimonies.
Sometimes God will ask you to do things that don’t make sense, it is a test. On the other side of doing His will is a level of your destiny that you have never seen. This is where faith comes in. I was very sure within my spirit that I heard from God and did not care about being infected by the virus. All I was thinking about was taking that first step of faith and doing God’s will.
Going back to the lesson on Noah doing God’s will… The scripture says He moved and acted on it when he heard the instruction. Sometimes we hear God speaking to us but we ignore it, and think “I know I should forgive, I know I should live a life of holiness, I know I should eat healthier, I know I should take that step of faith, I know I should fulfil my promise, I know I should do something about my prayer life but I will deal with it later”.
Stop ignoring what you know God is speaking to you about. Whether it’s to come up higher in your character, not compromise, or take that step of faith, go after yourself, and build your boat like Noah. You activate the power by taking action.
No more waiting for a more convenient time. This is your time to move and act on God’s will. If you will do this, I decree and declare: you will accomplish dreams that look impossible… The Freedom, healing, abundance, right person or testimonies you never saw coming will come forth in Jesus’s name.
The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”’!
Gloryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to God!
