Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. Matthew 18:19
When challenges look too big and you don’t seem to see a way out, it’s easy to get in agreement with the impossibility side of things, maybe because an expert says so!
The expert may have a lot of experience and education about it. However, don’t agree with anything which contradicts God’s word. They may present you with facts but the truth about it is what God’s word says.
There is someone God has ordained for you who will believe with you and ignite the faith in you regarding what God says about it. Someone who will say, “I’m not moved by what the facts say, I’m not discouraged by how impossible it looks, I know that God can do the impossible”. (Matthew 19:26)
You have to find someone who will agree with you in prayer and just any Christian! You may have to bypass friends who don’t believe, co-workers who doubt, relatives who think you’re not being realistic and come into a divine connection, a faith partner, a power partner, someone who knows that God is fighting your battles and He has the final say!
THE POWER OF AGREEMENT!
In challenging times, it’s so important who you are allowing to speak into your life. When the battle is tough, you can’t afford to have negative voices like “I don’t see how this will work out, the opposition is too strong or the situation doesn’t look good at all.
Without any godly insight into your challenges, they will even tell you that they say things the way they are! On your part, Be respectful about your reaction towards negative opinions but get out of there. Don’t spend your time with people who drain your faith, find people who increase your faith, people who inspire you to believe, and people who come into agreement with what you know God has put in your heart.
There are times you don’t need sympathy, you don’t need people to feel sorry for you, but if you are having health challenges, a get-well message is fine! What you need is people who will release their faith for you, people who will speak light into the darkness, healing into the sickness, abundance into the lack and freedom into the messy situation.
Some people love to be caring and give a helping hand to those who are in tough times which is good! However, the good gift you can give to someone at this time is to come into agreement with them and be a power partner in prayer. They need someone who will look beyond the natural and believe in the supernatural. Someone who will come into agreement with them to achieve the desired result.
There are enough negative people around us. They have negative comments to make about everything; Your business will not survive this challenge. You have lost those clients and they are not coming back. I saw the medical report, is very bad. Take your issues away from negative minds. If you allow them, they will talk you out of your healing, keep you from your dreams and delay your greatness from manifesting!
When Nehemiah was rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, two main critics were trying to talk him out of it. The scripture says that Sanballat said, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they fortify themselves? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they complete it in a day? Will they revive the stones from the heaps of rubbish—stones that are burned?” Now Tobiah the Ammonite was beside him, and he said, “Whatever they build if even a fox goes up on it, he will break down their stone wall.” (Nehemiah 4:2-3)
Negative comments can drain your faith! Pay attention to those around you when you believe God is in for something. Who are you allowing to speak into your life? If it’s negative people, it’s time to come out of that agreement. Come into agreement with faith-filled and all things are possible people.
You need to agree with dream encouragers, with people who don’t limit you to what you can do, what you have or who you know! But people who understand the greatness of our God, people who know He can do more than you can ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20)
See, there are dream encouragers and there are dream-killers! Dream encouragers are bold people, they believe in what God put in your heart, even when they don’t see how it can happen. Dream-killers are just the opposite of dream encouragers!
Dream killers are people who will try to talk you out of your dreams, they look at the circumstances, study the facts, and come up with a lot of reasons why it’s not going to happen. They are not bad people, they just can’t see what God put in your heart. They don’t feel what you feel. They have not heard that still small voice that you heard!
Refuse to get into agreement with their negativity, don’t believe their doubt, and don’t allow them to water down your dream. Appreciate their opinion, and love them as a friend, but don’t come into agreement with their doubt!
Come into agreement with someone who ignites your faith, someone who believes in what God put in your heart, someone who inspires you to keep believing, even when it seems impossible. There’s power in agreement and you don’t have to find a lot of people to get it started… You may not even be able to find three people, but there is one person that God has already ordained that will come into agreement with you for what you believe in!
There is a power partner that will be your secret intercessor, jealously keep your agreement with them in prayer and they are going to stand with you through thick and thin, even when others doubt, don’t think it’s possible and try to discourage you.
There are battles that you can’t win alone. Some dreams won’t come to pass with just your faith, your hard work, and your efforts. God designed people to come into agreement with you. When they agree, a power is released, a favour, a blessing that only comes from the two of you joining your faith. It’s the power of agreement.
Sometimes we try to do it on our own, “I’m strong, I’m anointed, I’m favoured”; yes, that’s all true, but you are stronger when you have a power partner, someone you agree with concerning a matter, I mean an agreement with someone in prayer.
Husbands and wives, you need to agree on what you believe God for; your dreams, your health or your children. One of you has the dream, but you need another to add the “Amen” in agreement. The scripture says in (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10), “Two are better than one. When one falls, the other can lift him”. When doubt or negative circumstances come, you can encourage your spouse and lift each other.
DON’T BREAK THE AGREEMENT!
Don’t break your agreement! Every day, say “Lord, thank you for what you promised because it’s manifesting step by step” and declare what you believe! Let them know that we are not moved by what we see, we’re not going to break our agreement, God is faithful, and what He promised is on the way. The scripture says, “One can chase a thousand, but two can put ten thousand to flight”. (Deuteronomy 32:30)
Instead of worrying about your children, worrying about your finances, worrying about your health, find a power partner, someone to agree with you! Not with your doubts, not with what you don’t think will happen, not with the lies the enemies whispering, but someone that will agree with the promises God has declared over your life and will not break it.
Breaking your agreement is when you start entertaining doubt and becoming negative about the agreement and what God says. That is why who you agree with is going to determine your desired result. Maybe you don’t have anyone around you who’s full of faith and believes that God can do great things or you have yet to meet with who can agree with you in prayer. I’m going to come into agreement with what God has promised you!
I “Victor Ohue” make this post as one of my prayer points for life. Whoever God will lead to this page, I am going into agreement with you in prayer that you will fulfil your purpose, that God will do more than you can imagine, that your latter days will be better than your former days, that you will see beauty for the ashes, that what was meant for harm God is turning to your advantage.
I agree that the right doors will open, the right people will show up, you will see favour, and increase, you are healthy and whole, that sickness is not permanent and healing is activated in you. You are getting stronger, you are vibrant and energetic, and you will run and not be weary. With a long life, God will satisfy you.
I agree that you are free from every addiction, bad habit, depression, and anxiety, and that stronghold is coming down. Nothing will hinder you for the rest of your life. You will walk in freedom, wholeness, joy, peace, and victory.
I’m in agreement that you will lend and not borrow, that you will see overflow, that abundance is coming, explosive blessings, blessings that catapult you to a new level. I agree that your children are mighty in the land, that they will stand out in the crowd, that they are full of wisdom, that they make great decisions, that they are great leaders, and that they will fulfil their purpose.
Now here is the key: I’m not going to break my agreement. Every morning I’m going to thank God for numerous testimonies regarding this agreement with you in this post and also for what you’re believing God for to come to pass. I’m going to be your power partner. Now, do your part, don’t break your agreement: stay away from “negative” people, and stay in agreement with our prayer. Don’t forget to share your testimony with us; I would love to hear or read your testimony.
As you keep this agreement you are going to see God show up in your life. Favour is coming, healing is coming, breakthroughs are coming and new opportunities in fulfilment of your God-given destiny in Jesus’ name. If you agree with me say Amen!
